ROANOKE - On Friday Del. Sam Rasoul (D-11) announced that Delegate Kelly Fowler (D-21), whose district includes parts of Virginia Beach, has endorsed his campaign for Lieutenant Governor.
Fowler is the eleventh member of the General Assembly to endorse Rasoul. Delegate Joshua Cole (D-28) announced his endorsement of Rasoul yesterday.
"I've had the honor of working besides Sam since I was elected in 2017. Sam truly cares about the issues and is in this to make Virginia a better, cleaner, more inclusive Commonwealth for all," said Del. Fowler. "His values, his word, and his WORK are the epitome of truth and grit. I'm proud to endorse Sam Rasoul for Lt. Governor."
Rasoul leads the race in Virginia endorsements with over 50 endorsements from Virginia elected officials and over 100 endorsements from Virginia community leaders and organizations.
To date, Rasoul's endorsements include former U.S. Congressman Rick Boucher, former Attorney General Mary Sue Terry, fourteen school board members, and over twenty mayors and city and town council members. His campaign has also been endorsed by:
